CASSIE KING COMMUNICATIONS
Cassie King Communications has been born from my two passions - writing and horticulture.
My services include media liaison, press releases, feature and copywriting, flower show and event support, horticultural how-to guides, blogs and product/plant descriptions.
I currently freelance for a number of leading garden industry brands and can help you with any of your copywriting needs.

ABOUT ME
The face behind the words
After studying at the University of Leeds, I knew that my vocation was in storytelling and helping brands find their voice and creating copy that actually connects with people.
I’ve been a part of the garden industry since 2011. During my six years with the Horticultural Trades Association (HTA), I acted as the voice of the industry, which gave me an incredible look into every corner of the sector, from growers and landscapers to major retail chains. Since then, I’ve led garden portfolios as an Account Director, worked as a Content Writer for Westland Horticulture, and managed communications for Woodlodge Products.
I specialise in storytelling and copywriting, crafting original features and expert copy for both trade and consumer audiences. My work is backed by an RHS Diploma and a strong network of industry contacts and media relationships.
I also have a massive amount of experience on the ground at events. I’ve managed and promoted show gardens at the UK’s premier flower shows, including project managing the 'Love Your Plot' roadshow and coordinating four gardens at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show that earned a Silver Gilt Medal. Whether I’m managing national media outreach or handling the logistics of a complex trade event, I pride myself on being a relationship builder who gets results.
Outside of the office, I’ve had a passion for nature since I was young, which fuels my work every day. When I’m not in a garden centre, I’m usually enjoying aviation, live music, cathedrals, or supporting Reading FC, all while navigating life as a mum to a crazy little boy!
